Top Gear aired today on BBC 2, after having had a extra break due to Richard Hammonds crash, i thought it would be quite interesting to see how quickly the show would pop up on the internet, since it’s supposed to be viewed by 350 million people i thought it wouldn’t take to long.
I have now had a overview of every single upload to both YouTube and Dailymotion since the show aired (3:30 hours ago) and it still haven’t appeared, however i thought id see if it had appeared on the bittorrent networks, and lo behold, the entire show was already up and available to download.
To summarize: Bittorrent might possibly be the technorati (for news/blogs) when it comes to getting online shows or this was just a coincidence, but still interesting.
Knew quite a few on the list, had never heard of some…

Uber congrats to Nils and his crew down there who does an absolutely amazing job. It’s really a fantastic boutique hotel with amazing food and scenery.
Listening to some music and some French “rap” song which i have no idea what it’s about (Some sounds towards the end gives me slight idea though)
And it REALLY makes me missing summer!

I today just realized (again) the tremendous respect i have for entrepreneurs who builds something first and then go out looking for funding. Not saying other ways are wrong (there is no right/wrong, it’s all up for debate - And sometimes it’s not possible or doesn’t make sense… as i said totally depends on a lot of factors). But it just reminds me of the first venture i built, and i have really started to miss that lately, maybe because finding DOERS is really really hard. If you know anybody that fits the above, my door is always 110% open, even if the idea might not be the optimal, we have a saying at LundKenner:
Bad people can’t even succeed with a good idea, but good people can succeed with a bad one.
I hope someone will keep a very close watch on this Brazilian initiative.

Yahoo’s parking space seem to be rather overcrowded, funny the times i have visited their offices it’s been quite a few spaces.
It’s funny because having a small solar pavement markers (like the one’s who are placed alongside roads etc) that would sense if parking spaces are free could easily solve the “time” problem of finding a parking space, and the cost of having to deal with “illegal” parking would go down tremendously i would have though. Maybe my next business that

Nytimes did a quick review - And it confirms what i was afraid off.
“Typing is difficult. The letter keys are just pictures on the glass screen, so of course there’s no tactile feedback.”
I have a Nokia 9300i, it’s to bit and screen isn’t good enough, but the typing rocks! there are times i type on it even though i know it will cost me more, just because it’s so much quicker. (anyways enough of meeeee toooo’s post)
So Apple has released their iPhone - I am not as interested about the phone
(no 3g means useless for data transfer (Edge is ok, not used in europe though),
as much as how the deal between Apple and Cingular was structured. From my novice perspective i would have said this was the best option for apple… Take a look at monthly growth numbers last 12 months, and once phone was launched the % increase over normal growth they would do a revenue split on (Can’t be pure revenue split on iPhone alone since Cingular receives massive free PR/Branding) . Anyways i am sure we will know very soon how the deal is structured… until then i guess it’s all pure guessing (and yes i have worked in the affiliate industry 
).
On a separate note, i wonder if they leased iPhone.com since it’s still owned by previous owners from the looks of it.
(I know nothing about running a public company, nor much about how the mobile operators work… Ps. Steve you want to buy iWall.com from me? )

Just finished reading EBay Pressured to Move on Skype - And i have to say i think they got this one VERY wrong in my humble opinion, why?
Skype is in Voip what, Ebay is in Online Auctions, what Windows is for OS etc…

Even with the internet there is some magazines and newspapers i just like reading in good old paper edition, one of those magazine’s are Vanity Fair, i dropped by a international newspaper store in Sweden today to pick up the latest edition, only to be told that it would arrive around the end of the month (When i will be in the US anyways, and the March issue will appear there) - This is not an uncommon thing, just as i like Nytimes, and would love to receive it around the world too, so here is my question, can it really be that hard to send the magazine/paper in electronic format and just print it locally and distribute it from there? i understand that it depends on how big the market is, but these magazines are printed in the US and then sent to Europe, why not just have an affiliate print it in Germany or something and it can be distributed around Europe within 2-3 days afterwards…oh well, maybe this is one of the small reasons why newspapers are losing customers.
p.s the same for Mountain Dew please… tired of paying 2$ a can

Haha i guess it’s a good problem to have, but FareCompare is probably being featured on CNN but we don’t know where and when, we can just see traffic coming in without knowing when it’s being shown. Anybody know if there is a technorati alike tool for monitoring mentions on TV?
Seems like the boys/girls are starting to increase users now, have received quite a couple of tokens within just a couple of days now, will probably be starting more large scale testing soon.
Opened some letters a couple of days ago, inside was my yearly bank statement from one of the banks i use, in total i received 14 pages of “performance” reports in thick paper with super nice graphs, % numbers, and extremely well presented tables. I am not sure if it’s because i am so used to bank being shit in terms of customer service (That’s another post) or that i am just a sucker for good packaging and presentations. It was almost so good i forgot the hundreds of euro’s they charged to maintain the account even though it hadn’t been used
