Facebook - world’s colliding

KRAMER: Jerry, don’t you see? This world here, this is George’s
sanctuary. If Susan comes into contact with this world, his world’s
collide. You know what happens then?

Have been getting a lot of facebook invitations lately.
I find Facebook quite interesting and think it’s more professional than MySpace. But i have some troubles signing up to Facebook mostly because for really the first time friends and acquaintances have asked me to sign up as have business contacts, and i am really having trouble mixing them i’ve found, for business i use LinkedIn quite a lot and like how the service works. However for friends the only social network i use for them is simply my cellphone, up until the beginning of this year i only had friends numbers on my cellphone to avoid the world’s colliding but i had to sync it because in the end i just couldn’t do business the way i was supposed to without business contacts on my phone. Maybe just i have this problem, not sure if it’s because normally my business world is just so far apart from my friends world???
Am i crazy or is this a good boundary to have?

I know the feeling. What you need to do is just let go and trust the people around you. If you cant trust your friends with your business-friends, and vice-versa - one of your worlds is off and you don’t belong.

Imagine all of them being in the same room for dinner, all mixed up at different tables talking. For your social network to be in balance, you should feel fine with that. I mean, you have nothing to hide, right?

Well having multiple network is natural. Defining the boundaries of these networks is a little more dififcult.

So the problem is how to distinguish those networks and how to manage them?

What time to allocate them, which kind of contact channel to use, etc..

So now we have martin, managing different Martin’s avatars.
Across all the channels. But channels are growing and each time we should sync that new channel to all the contacts.

    Too much energy.

So someone will come with an idea to sync easily all our small social networks, mobile, new media in an easy way.

Our Personal Unified Messaging Agent will let us have closed social networks and overlaping social networks like in real life. Like Homer in the Bar of MOO.

strange. Just after posting the comment, I thought about your company (ZYB) doing the se unified messaging.

I must admit i cannot try ZYB. Believe it or not … I don’t use mobile ; ).
